Privacy Policy — Goalpost

Last updated: 13 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Goalpost — Goal Tracker app (“the app”, package com.aganext.goalpost) handles information. The app is published by AgaNext (“we”, “us”).

Summary

Goalpost is a fully offline goal tracker. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, location, or any personal profile. Your goals, milestones, and settings are stored in private app storage. Android may back up this data or transfer it to another device according to your system settings. Advertising is disabled in this version.

Information you create and Android backup

Everything you enter — goals, your written reasons (“why”), categories, milestones, and target dates — is stored locally in the app’s private storage (a single goals.json file). It is included in Android’s system backup if you have that enabled on your device. We have no servers and never receive this data.

Information collected (advertising)

Advertising is currently disabled: this version does not initialize the Mobile Ads SDK or request banner ads. The app includes the SDK for future consent-aware advertising:

We do not ourselves collect, store, or sell personal information.

Your choices

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention & security

We hold no personal data on our own servers. On-device data lives in the app’s private storage and is removed when you clear app storage or uninstall. Android backup retention and deletion are controlled by the system and your backup provider, not by Goalpost.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
