Born in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges near Paris, Nathanael Mbuku broke through at Stade de Reims as a teenager, scoring a spectacular acrobatic goal against Montpellier, before moves to Augsburg and back to France. A quick, technical attacker, he starred for France at the 2019 U17 World Cup before switching to DR Congo in 2024.
