A diminutive, creative attacking midfielder, Abbosbek Fayzullaev burst out of Pakhtakor's academy as a teenager, winning three straight league titles and starring as MVP of the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup, where he won the decisive penalty in the final. A move to CSKA Moscow followed, then a 2025 transfer to Istanbul Basaksehir. Twice Uzbekistan Footballer of the Year, he is one of the team's biggest attacking talents for the World Cup.
