Born in Accra, Mumin developed at the Right to Dream Academy, winning back-to-back Gothia Cups, before joining Nordsjaelland and later Vitoria de Guimaraes in Portugal. He moved to La Liga's Rayo Vallecano in 2022 and even won the league's Goal of the Month in September 2024. A 1.88m centre-back, his 2026 build-up was disrupted by a cruciate ligament injury suffered in March 2025.
