Born in Belgium as Edmilson Paulo da Silva Junior, the winger made his name at Sint-Truiden before joining Standard Liege, winning the 2018 Belgian Cup. He moved to Al-Duhail in 2018 and, after years in Qatar, was naturalized and made his international debut in September 2024 in a World Cup qualifier. A direct, technical attacker adding firepower to Qatar's 2026 squad.
