Born in Senlis, France to Moroccan parents, Ayyoub Bouaddi began playing in Creil before joining Lille's academy in 2021. A poised defensive midfielder, he broke records as Lille's youngest-ever player and became the youngest player to feature in a European club competition. After captaining France's U21s, he switched to Morocco in May 2026 and was named in the World Cup squad as a teenager.
