Born in Toulouse, France to a footballing family, Issa Diop came through Toulouse's academy and captained the club before a club-record £22m move to West Ham in 2018. He later joined Fulham in 2022. A towering, athletic right-sided centre-back, he was a France youth international and won the 2016 U-19 Euros before switching allegiance to Morocco, his mother's country, in March 2026.
