Born in the Netherlands to a Turkish father and Dutch-Canadian mother, Ferdi Kadıoğlu became the youngest player to debut for NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie before moving to Fenerbahçe in 2018, where he spent six years and won the Turkish Cup. He chose to represent Türkiye in 2022 and joined Brighton in 2024. The versatile full-back was named Brighton's Player of the Year for 2025-26.
