Hoorn-born Sontje Hansen was a teenage sensation, winning the Golden Boot at the 2019 U17 World Cup and the U17 Euros with the Netherlands while at Ajax. After developing at Jong Ajax he moved to NEC Nijmegen and then to Middlesbrough for £3.4m in 2025. The winger switched to Curaçao in 2025 and is part of their inaugural World Cup squad.
