Jordy Caicedo joined a youth academy at 15 and broke through at Universidad Católica before a prolific spell at CSKA Sofia, where he scored 23 goals in a season and won the Bulgarian Cup. He has since played for Tigres, Sporting Gijón and Atlas, currently on loan at Argentina's Huracán. A tall, physical striker, he debuted for Ecuador in 2021 against Brazil.
