Born in Stockholm to Eritrean parents, Alexander Isak joined AIK's academy at six and became the club's youngest Allsvenskan scorer before a 2017 move to Borussia Dortmund. After a transformative loan at Willem II and a strong spell at Real Sociedad, he joined Newcastle United in 2022 and broke the Swedish top-flight scoring record. In 2025 he completed a British-record transfer to Liverpool, and he leads Sweden's attack as their star striker.
