Born and raised in Bonn to a Galician mother and a German father of Iranian descent, Dennis Eckert Ayensa is a forward who came through Borussia Monchengladbach's academy and represented Germany at youth level. His senior career took him through Celta Vigo, Ingolstadt and Belgium's Union SG before joining Standard Liege in 2025.
