Marcio Salomao Brazao da Rosa started playing at age eight in Cape Verde before moving to Portuguese club Chaves in 2015 and progressing through lower-league loans. The goalkeeper has since settled in Bulgaria with First League side Montana. He debuted for Cape Verde in a penalty-shootout friendly win over Andorra in 2018 and was part of the squad that reached the round of 16 at the 2021 AFCON, travelling to the 2026 World Cup as a backup keeper.
