An Al-Ahli academy graduate, Saleh Al-Shehri became the first Saudi to score in European club football during a loan to Portugal's Beira-Mar. After a breakout 16-goal season at Al-Raed, he won multiple trophies at Al-Hilal before joining Al-Ittihad on a free transfer in 2024. The tall striker scored Saudi Arabia's first goal in the 2-1 upset of Argentina at the 2022 World Cup.
