Saud Abdulhamid is the pioneer of Saudi players in Europe. The attacking right-back came through at Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal, winning six domestic titles, before joining Roma in 2024 to become the first Saudi to play in European competition. After a loan to Lens that turned permanent, he is the only member of the squad currently playing abroad, offering the team a European-tested full-back.
