Tomáš Holeš grew up at Hradec Králové, captaining the club before a spell at Jablonec earned him a 2019 move to Slavia Prague. A versatile defender who can play centre-back, right-back or in midfield, he became a national hero at Euro 2020 by scoring and assisting in the round-of-16 win over the Netherlands.
